A lot of nice cars tend to trade around this season and the prices are getting low enough that you can't pay for much in the way of parts (and especially labor) to fix them up relative to starting with a cleaner one. For example: I recently bought and parted out a fairly nice salvage RHD car. Market for the car was $3K but the salvage inspection costs $500 (or more if you fail) so the guy sold me the car. And he was a mechanic (but my shop is nicer LOL)
